Goodnight to all...

We had a late dinner tonight and now we are just letting our food set in before we go to bed. Its going to be another long, tiring day for my hubbby tomorrow. Poor baby working so hard...

So anyhow, we usually go to bed around 9pm, wake up 6am...

Its always a busy day for my hubby. The shop completely depends on him. As the Manager and Supervising Tech, he usually is the one diagnosting problem cars, leaving the easier ones to the other 2 mechanics. At the end of the day, he is tired both mentally and physically.

Ok ok. Time for bed folks. Again, goodnight everybody and I hope we all have the sweetestdreams tonight....

I am just so bored today...I can't think of anything I want to do except sit and sit and sit. Its thursday. Week is almost over yet I can't think of any accomplishment I made. No projects done, no nothing. All wasted time. Hay!

I really want to work. I was scheduled for an interview an hour ago for a job I applied (cashier/server for a restaurant) but did not make it. The thing is, my husband doesn't approve of me working as a cashier/server. He would always tell me that if I will work, it has to be worth the time I spend away from our house and away from the family. Hay the 2nd time around.

So here I am, so bored with nothing to do, so anxious to somehow earn by working. Hay the 3rd time around!

My husband has an account in Ebay for 8 years now. With 22 purchases, he kept and still keeping his account with 100% positive feedbacks.

Last September, we were trying to clean up our old rental house and get ready to move. So we figured out what are the stufs that we no longer use so that we can get rid of them. Then I came across some old stuffs of my stepdaughter, and found out that majority of her clothes and dresses and shoes are still brand new yet she can't use them anymore because she has grown bigger and can no longer fit her.

So I thought of selling some of her stuffs on Ebay. I used my hubby's account and started to sell the stuffs, taking pictures then posting the pictures. And also trying my best to make the descriptions of the items precise and detailed. It was fun and it was so easy. Then in less than 5 minutes, my items are ready to be displayed in the lists of items for sale.

No wonder alot of people make good money by selling on ebay. Its a great way to earn extra bucks. My husband would always say this, "you will never know, it maybe useless for you but for the others, it may be what they exactly need." Something like that.

I received an email from the money transfer service company that we use to send money to my family in the Philippines that they are discontinuing their service. In other words, bankcrupt! So according to the email, effective immediately, we can no longer use their service in sending money to the Philippines.

Additionally, card funds must be withdrawn before November 13, 2008. Otherwise, it will be returned to sender (to our bank account her in the USA).

Its a bummer! That card was sent to me by my hubby January 2007. And since then, he would regularly transfer money to that debit card. Then when I left the Philippines March 2008, I left that card to my mother so that we can still send her money through that card. I called her last night to tell her that she needs to withdraw the money in that debit card before November 13.

So anyhow, I am trying to figure out what is the best yet the cheapest and fastest money transfer service available for me to use. Xoom? Maybe. WU? No too expensive!. Bank to bank? Maybe...

I am getting fatter, I really am! i don't like it! I have to stop eating junks. And have to control my intake of food and be more active.

Yes, thats what I am going to do. I can't just sit here do nothing and keep on gaining weight. Now I am more like 25lbs overweight and I am not happy about it.

So I started my diet today and will hopefully be able to keep it. So many temptations around me but I have to do this, not for anybody, but for myself. I want to feel good, look good...No more ice cream, no more colas, no more chips and no more chocolates. More water, more veggies and fruits (way lami!) ahaha

It was a successful week for us. We accomplished quite a bit with our chores and most of all, our interview and driving test were successful.

We are just about to go to bed and rest. Tomorrow is Saturday. We will be attending our Christian Meetings at 10am.

So anyhow, I can't wait to find a job now that I am done with all the paperworks. I started applying as a bank teller and customer service associate. So far, not one company responded. I am so not qualified. huhuhuh

I guess I will just stick to what I really am. A Teacher! hahay! So tiring to be a teacher but its a very rewarding job.

So friends, I will keep you updated with my pursuit to richness este fro teaching certificate. haha. Good night everybody. Sweetdreams to all and enjoy a safe weekend...

We were having fun last saturday night. It was just Tim and me at home. Sage spent the night at her friend's house and Clason was in his girlfriend's house. So we were trying hard to entertain ourselves.

We played rockband. He played the guitar and I was the vocalist. We succeeded in intertaining ourselves. We had a good time just being with each other and spending time as a couple. We had fun and can't wait to do this again.

I had taken a break from blogging during my Mom Martha's visit. I wanted to spend as much time as I can with her. Now I am back and I will be visiting you guys soon.

We just got back from the mall. Say-J needed at least a pair of jeans but ended up having 2 pairs. Thanks to Grandma!

Oh well, we are just enjoying the afternoon as a family. Mom Martha and Say-J are bonding out on the backyard while I am taking some videos of my two boys playing guitar hero.

Laptop Revived!

So my husband figured out what wrong with my laptop so we went to Frys Electronics Shop in San Marcos to purchase a hard drive. The damaged hard drive of my laptop was 250 GB. My husband decided that I needed a bigger memory so he purchased the 320 GB.

Now, I am so happy that my laptop is functioning well again. He also change something as well. He finished installing the operating systems, and some other valuable and important programs. I am so pleased.

My husband is no IT guy but being a technician all his life, he basically has good knowledge on practicall most things. He may not be an IT guy but he is an avid reader and reads alot. He is a very intelligent man.

So I am happy that my laptop is up and running. And running faster than ever. Woohoo!! Brace yourselves guy. Akoa na tanang opps! hahaha

Bye Bye My Laptop

I am so sad. Last night, My laptop was running so slow. Then suddenly, I received a warning message. It was telling me to back up my files because they detected that my hard disk is about to die. waaaaaaa

So I thought maybe if I can restart my computer, it will just be fine. So I turned it off and guess what? It won't restart! My husband came to the rescue and tried. He was asked to re install the program files so he did just so.

It was successfully restarted but as expected, I lost all my files, pictures, and some programs I downloaded. Then the warning sign is still there. My hard drive is about to die. No other way to repiar it!waaaaaa

My husband is so good to me. He left his laptop so I can still enjoy blogging since our desktop is in my stepson's room.

I know its my fault. I used to download craps!huhuhuh
